I've struggled a bit with some irl stuff, lately; and it has finally come to my attention what 'the deal' is. I'm ready. Ready to be a part of Madi Grace's devil-butt-kicking-generation. Be a part of the #RebelliousWriters. Change the world with stories and entertainment. I feel like I'm ready. But I'm stuck, here, in this area where I am a 'fruit loop', a 'hippie' a 'strange artist-type who needs to come back to reality'.But I don't want to accept this as reality. I want us. Us WriMos, the next generation of storytellers. I want us to unite, to tell our stories, to change the world. We're tired of the same old superhero stories? We'll start a comic book brand. We're tired of misrepresentation in literature? WE'LL WRITE OUR STORIES. We'll do what God leads us to do, we'll do what's right for us, and HECK, WE'LL EVEN USE THIS 'INTERNET' WE SPEND TO MUCH TIME ON. We are not just 'dumb kids', or 'delusional dreamers'. The people who tell us that are the ones who GAVE UP. We don't have to. We CAN change the world, and I don't mean that in a 'cat poster' way. I mean WE ACTUALLY LITERALLY CAN. What other generation has had our tools, our drive, our heart, our story? We ARE going to change the world. You want to be the next George Lucas? go ahead, man. You want to be the next JK Rowling? GO FOR IT. You feel like God is leading you to be like, idk, the CHRISTIAN LATE SHOW HOST? THE FAMILY-FRIENDLY LATE SHOW HOST? GO FOR IT, KIDS. We don't have to settle for 'normalcy'. I don't. You don't. I won't. If you want to be a part of the generation who won't settle for complacency, please, comment below. I need to know that I'm not the only so-called 'worthless' dreamer.
